PRESIDENT RODRIGO DUTERTE REVEALED THE 5 GENERALS LINKED TO DRUGS

In his speech at the 69th anniversary of the Philippine Air Force in Pampanga on Tuesday, Duterte named former PNP deputy director generals Marcelo Garbo, Jr. and Vicente Loot; Chief Supt. Bernardo Diaz, Chief Supt Edgardo Tinio, and Director Joel Pagdilao as protectors of drug syndicates. 

Dela Rosa said Duterte's revelations were a morale booster "not only to the PNP but to the whole nation."

"Strong message na sinasabi nya na wala akong sinasanto kahit sino kayo. So wala syang kyeme. wala syang tinatago,” Dela Rosa said when asked about the PNP's morale.

“Ang morale ng PNP ay very high. Ito ay pagsubok lamang, dadaan rin ito, lilipas rin ito. Itong nangyayari sa organisasyon, this is part of the (process) kung paano mo pagagandahin yung imahe ng organisasyon, part and parcel of the process yan.  We’ll take it positively and high morale pa rin tayo,” he added.

Dela Rosa said the President’s move would have a long-term effect on the PNP.

“Walang puwedeng magtatago sa kanya ng kalokohan. Talagang ida-divulge at ida-divulge niya yan,” Dela Rosa said.

Dela Rosa recalled that Duterte, when he was still mayor, told Davao policemen that they could kill his children if ever the were involved in illegal drugs.
